R. Blaine Faulkner, II
Vice President, Account Management and Sales

As Vice President, CCN Sales and Account Management, Blaine Faulkner is responsible for CCN brand group health new sales as well as maintaining relationships with approximately 400 CCN clients nationwide. Mr. Faulkner joined CCN as Controller in 1993 and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 1995. In 1999, he became Vice President, Strategic Planning and Development, and he assumed his current role in 2002. During his tenure at CCN, Mr. Faulkner has directed the company through its conversion from not-for-profit to for-profit status and its acquisition by First Health.

Mr. Faulkner received a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from San Diego State University and a master’s in business administration from the University of San Diego. He is a certified public accountant licensed in California.

Renita Bryant
Director, National Accounts

As Director, National Accounts, Renita Bryant is responsible for the account management of existing CCN group health clients and for new business development in the western region. Ms. Bryant oversees a team responsible for long-term strategic planning, issues resolution, implementation of new products and services, and contract negotiations. Her business unit represents more than $9 million in annual revenue. Ms. Bryant joined CCN in 1989 as a Hospital Service Representative. Soon after, she moved to the marketing and account management area of the company, where she has now spent more than a decade in positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining CCN, Ms. Bryant was a Claims Resolution Manager for Aetna. Her previous experience also includes five years as a Customer Service Manager at Blue Cross in Cincinnati, Ohio. In total, she has over 20 years of experience in the managed care industry.

Soccoro Morales
Director, National Accounts

As Director of National Accounts, Socorro Morales directs a team of Account Management colleagues who are responsible for the day-to-day support and administration of group health CCN clients, including insurance carriers, international businesses and union trust funds. Ms. Morales and her team are responsible for long-term strategic planning, issues resolution, implementation of new products and services and contract negotiations. Her business unit represents more than $8 million in annual revenue. Prior to joining CCN in 1998, Ms. Morales was the Director of Client Services and Implementation for Preferred Health Network in Long Beach, California, for 10 years. Her previous experience also includes holding the position of Senior Claims Examiner for New England Life Insurance in Glendale, California, where she was responsible for the claims administration of four key clients.

Gina Nelson
Manager, National Accounts

As Manager of National Accounts, Gina Nelson is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term business relationships with CCN clients and managing a team responsible for guiding daily client activity and account management. She and her team serve as a resource for clients, assisting them with claims resolution and workflow improvements, as well as participating in planning and open enrollment meetings. Since joining CCN in 1995, Ms. Nelson has held several positions in Client Services and Information Systems. She held an Account Management role for nearly three years before her promotion to her current position in 2002. Prior to joining CCN, Ms. Nelson was a Software Support Specialist for Hematronix, Inc. in Plano, Texas.

Dean Vaden
Director, National Accounts

In his position as Director, National Accounts, Dean Vaden directs a team of national sales directors who are responsible for generating new business sales and for the day-to-day support and administration of group health CCN and HealthCare VALUE Management (HCVM) clients in the eastern region. Mr. Vaden and his team are responsible for long-term strategic planning, issues resolution, implementation of new products and services, and contract negotiations. Mr. Vaden joined CCN in 1998 as a Senior Account Executive and has been promoted to increasingly key roles working with clients. Prior to joining CCN, he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities in the southeast for HealthStar, a national PPO in Tampa, Florida. In addition, he spent three years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for The Grantham Group, also in Tampa. In that capacity he was responsible for the sales and marketing efforts to large, self-funded clients. For several years, Mr. Vaden also owned and operated a full-service insurance agency specializing in health, life and disability insurance products.

Jonathan Wechsler
National Sales Director


In his role as National Sales Director, Jonathan Wechsler focuses on the group health market and is responsible for new business development of major national accounts in the central and western regions of the U.S. He also cultivates long-term relationships with third-party administrators. Prior to joining CCN in 1998, Mr. Wechsler was the Vice President of Benefit Group Consultants in Phoenix, Arizona, where he was responsible for all aspects of sales. As the Business Development Director for Allmerica Financial in Boston for the three years previous, he was responsible for developing and managing financial portfolios. Mr. Wechsler has a bachelor's degree in business and communications from the University of Arizona and an executive management degree from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. In 1999, he was named one of the top 25 up and coming business executives by the Arizona Business Journal.
